This 4-hour workshop provides a broad yet detailed coverage of various project metrics available to the professional project scheduler as well as the seasoned project management professional. This workshop is designed for those who recognize that having a better understanding of project metrics can have a major impact to performance assessments and day-to-day project management decision making. Centered around the industry recognized, A guide to Managing Programs Using Predictive Measures and the Generally Accepted Scheduling Principals (GASP), this workshop allows the student to understand the necessary fundamentals of program/project metrics and their specific applications. This workshop explains how to assess various program metrics such as: Schedule, Cost, Risk and Opportunity, and Technical Performance Measures including an in- depth look at how to interpret various metrics to detect early warnings of potential program/project issues. This course content will be presented as a mixture of lecture, discussion, and hands-on exercises for the students to practice and apply what they learn.
